THE Army cricket team is wary of the Punjabi Tigers as the two sides will meet in the semi-final of the Suva Cricket Association competition this Saturday.
Army has been unbeaten in the competition and looks favourite to book a place in the final. However, the side not taking Punjabi Tigers lightly.
Player Jone Seuvou said they were preparing for the mission.
“They players have been consistent throughout the season and it is one of our strengths,” he said.
“Punjabi Tigers is a good team and they have only lost one game.
“It is not about the past results as teams can change and get the results which they want. At times the team will not perform well.”
He said they would give their best to win.
“We have been the unbeaten team after defeating Komo who were on the top of the points table. Komo has moved to the second position while Army is on top of the table now,” he added.

“Some of our players are with the national side but we showed that the other players can also play at the top of their game.”
