About 50 followers of Islam who live in Nasorowaqa, Bua, say they urgently need to rebuild their mosque that was damaged by Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
Mosque maulana, Mohammed Wasil from Uttar Pardesh in India, said strong winds blew the roof off and damaged other parts of the mosque.
“For now, we find a dry place to offer our daily prayers,” he said.
The mosque was built 14 years ago. “I request all to give as much as you can to rebuild this mosque.
“There are people pledging to send corrugated tins and timber and I hope that comes soon.”
