Tropical Disturbance 10F has been upgraded to a tropical depression this morning.
It is located to the East of Vanuatu and is lying in favourable environment and is expected to be upgraded to a Category one cyclone later today.
The system is forecasted to track Southeast and the centre is expected to remain to the far West of Fiji, states Fiji Meteorological Service.
The associated active convergence zone with fresh to strong North-westerly winds and rain is expected to affect the country from Thursday until the weekend.
