AG Leung fired – “No more – so far”, PM Rabuka on other Ministers if they were in the firing line

Less than one year in office, the Attorney General, Graham Leung has been fired.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has confirmed this to The Fiji Times.

Mr Leung was appointed the Attorney General on June 4, 2024.

“Yes, AG is out,” Mr Rabuka said when asked directly by The Fiji Times.

The Prime Minister did not elaborate on the reasons behind Mr Leung’s removal or who would replace him.

Asked whether any other senior minister would be shown the door, Mr Rabuka replied: “No more – so far!”
