The Bula Festival according to www.fiji.travel has been running since its first inception in 1960.
Now the 56th Bula Festival 2016 with major sponsor — Digicel is finally here where beautiful Queen contestants vying for the Bula crown will represent their individual sponsors.
The week-long festival will start this week on July 22 until July 30 next week with fun and exciting programs on offer for people.
With the event being held at Koroivulo Park and Prince Charles Park in Nadi, tourists and locals won’t have any problem finding their way to the event and back home with transport being easily accessible from the two venues. Preparation for the events was well underway according to website www.fiji.travel to give a smooth and grand opening for the festival today.
The program for the festival will feature themed nights, food stalls, fun and games, entertainment, Ferris wheel and many more exciting activities.
Proceeds from the festival will be diverted towards the Nadi Hospital’s accident and emergency wards.
The theme for the Digicel Bula Festival this year is “Festival of Unity and Diversity”.
