A man died in Lautoka on Thursday after he was crushed by a truck.
Fiji Police said the incident occurred at the Tore Settlement in Lautoka after midday.
“The victim was fitting an excavator bucket, when a truck driven by a 44-year-old man reversed and bumped him,” said Fiji Police.
“The victim was rushed to the Lautoka Hospital where his death was confirmed by medical officials.”
Police said a postmortem will be conducted as investigations continue.
