Tuinamuana on ATH board

CHARTERED accountant Sikeli Tuinamuana has been appointed to the Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH) board of directors.

The ATH made the announcement on Tuesday to the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX) where it is listed.

Mr Tuinamuana began his career in the mid-1980s at Price Waterhouse.

He was previously a partner at Ernst & Young for more than 21 years, retiring at the end of 2023. He was also a partner at Arthur Andersen/G Lal & Co for more than three years. At present, he is a partner at Raki Partners.

His diverse background includes providing auditing and advisory services to both local and multinational clients across a wide range of industries, enhancing his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the strategic direction of the ATH board.

His career highlights include fcilitating listings on the Suva Stock Exchange and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, leading initiatives for raising capital through prospectus preparations and liaising with regulatory bodies, and conducting company valuations and advising on corporate restructuring to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

“Mr Tuinamuana has played a key role in job evaluation and remuneration for major Fijian institutions. His deep understanding of organisational governance and financial management will be an asset to the ATH board.
