THE guidance of the Lord has always been the northern star keeping former Flying Fijian Akapusi Qera firm-footed in his rugby career.
Speaking to Fiji Rugby recently, the former flanker and captain shared how his faith kept him going through difficult episodes in his professional rugby stint.
Today’s RAKA FILE entry sought Qera’s comments in a Fiji Rugby interview where he shared those remarks when recounting the previous home match against Scotland, which Fiji won 27-22.
Qera, when wearing the nation’s notable white jersey, made 65 appearances and 45 points.
He also played a key role in the historic 2007 Rugby World Cup match against Wales where he scored a try as Fiji won 38-34.
