Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) officers were able to detect marijuana rolls stuffed inside the sole of a pair of flip-flops.
The shoes were brought to the Naboro prison complex on Saturday by the wife of an inmate.
While under routine checking FCS officers saw abnormality in the flip flop sole.
Upon further inspection, it was found the edges of the sole were glued together.
When they pulled it apart, marijuana rolls were found stuffed inside the shoe soles.
Fiji Police Force were informed, and the woman was arrested.
Questions have been sent to Fiji Police and Fiji Corrections Service.
