You have to change the lack of trust and faith in the organisation, Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said while closing a Fiji Police Force Sergeant’s Qualifying Course at the Fiji Police Academy yesterday.

283 participants underwent the distance flexible learning mode in the five policing divisions for a duration of 13 weeks.

“I need you to be vocal, I need you to lead the enforcement of discipline and standards as you are the very officers I rely on to keep our operations running smoothly on the frontline,” he said.

“You can only deliver what you possess, so if you don’t know your work, you cannot expect to lead those under your command.”

“We have to change perception and the lack of trust and faith in the organisation.”

“It can be done, and we are the very ones to change the perception, and I urge you to step up and let’s work together to deliver our commitment of improving service delivery and rebuilding trust and confidence in the Fiji Police Force.”
