Team Fiji came together for their final church service at the World Harvest Centre in Kinoya before their departure for the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau.

Team Fiji Chef de Mission, Josaia Tuinamata, expressed his delight at the opportunity to bring together athletes from different denominations for an English church service.

Despite not all 186 athletes being present due to their locations across Fiji, 95 athletes attended the service and showed great enthusiasm.

“So far everyone is in high spirit, leaving on Thursday evening for Nadi, and we got our charter flight that leaves a 7am on Friday, and the other one will come on Saturday,” said Tuinamata.

“Our organisers in Palau are all waiting, they have set up the beds in the schools that we will be in, and it will be exciting for two weeks in Palau with the Athletes from the 12 sports we are taking.”

With athletes participating in 12 sports such as Archery, Athletics, Baseball, Basketball, Para Athletics, Para Table Tennis, Swimming, Triathlon, Va’a, Indoor Volleyball, and Weightlifting, Team Fiji is ready to showcase their talents on the international stage.

The team is looking forward to representing their country with pride and bringing home glory in their respective sports.

The Pacific Mini Games in Koror, Palau, will be held from June 29 to July 9, 2025.
