Police will await the await the results of a post-mortem before advancing their investigations into the death of an elderly woman in Ba.
Nirmala’s (one name only) body was found about 200 meters from her canteen business property in Vunisamaloa, Ba yesterday morning.
“The victim was found by her neighbour lying motionless near his house and alerted police,” said Fiji Police.
“Officers recovered the victim’s body and conveyed her to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital, where a postmortem examination will be conducted to ascertain her cause of death.”
“Investigators will await the outcome of a post-mortem examination before classifying the case.”
