Fijians residing in or visiting Israel have been told to strictly comply with all security instructions and measures issued by the Israeli authorities.

The warning comes after ongoing Israel-Iran tensions.

“The Government of Fiji wishes to also advise all citizens of Fiji to exercise extreme caution,” said a statement.

“The Government of the Republic of Fiji acknowledges that the authorities in Israel have well-established and comprehensive security arrangements in place for their citizens during periods of insecurity and conflict.”

“Fiji nationals are therefore advised to remain vigilant, follow official guidance, and avoid areas identified as high risk.”

“Efforts remain ongoing to closely monitor developments, and updates will be issued as appropriate. The welfare and safety of all Fiji citizens continues to be of paramount importance.”
