Late Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Vatimi Rayalu will be laid to rest at the Old Suva Cemetery on Friday, government has announced.
He passes away last Thursday at the age of 57.
He was a career civil servant before joining politics in 2022.
Reguregu will commence on Wednesday at the Vodafone Arena on Laucala Bay Road.
The sporting complex will also host his funeral service on Friday, 20 June 2025.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka said Coalition Government would take the lead role in the funeral arrangement.
“Honourable Rayalu was a humble yet visionary leader, whose dedication to improving agriculture will remain part of his legacy,” the Prime Minister said.
“He served his nation with dignity, and his passing is a huge loss to Fiji.”
