MADRID – Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has strained his left hamstring and will undergo physiotherapy.
The club did not specify in a statement yesterday how long Suarez might be sidelined, saying the “evolution of his treatment” will determine when he returns to training.
Suarez forms part of Barcelona’s attacking trio that includes Neymar on the left flank and Lionel Messi on the right.
Barcelona are going for a football treble in the next three weeks.
There’s the Champions League final against Juventus next month, two rounds left in the Spanish league Barca lead by four points, and the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao on May 30.
