AJAY Trading Rewa will meet Extra Supermarket Labasa in the final of the 2025 BiC Fiji FACT tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Rewa defeated Suva 1-0 in the second semi-final, making the final of the tournament after two years.
As expected, the match was physical from the onset with Suva going in on an early attempt at goal.
However, once Rewa found its flow, Suva goalkeeper Akuila Mateisuva was kept busy as the Delta Tigers piled on waves of attack.
The answer to their attempts came in the 34th minute when Josaia Sela sneakingly headed home the opening goal.
This boosted their morale as they continue to question Suva’s defence.
However, the experienced Mateisuva kept his ground, leaving the scores at 1-0 to Rewa at the break.
It was a similar story in the second spell as the two teams went tit-for-tat, Suva desperate for an equaliser.
As the cool breeze of Laucala Bay sets in, it was Rewa and it’s fans that went home with the warm sensation of victory.
The final of the Fiji FACT will kick off at 3pm.
