Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has informed President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu he intends to release the COI report once FICAC receives its official copy.
“I spoke to His Excellency the President on Thursday morning and advised him that in accordance with the Commission of Inquiry Act and in accordance with the recommendations of the COI, that I intend to release the report through the Department of Information as soon as FICAC has received their copy,” the Prime Minister told The Fiji Times in an exclusive interview for A Conversation with the PM.
He said the move was part of the Government’s commitment to transparency and followed consultation with key national security figures.
