If you’re an avid beachcomber, a curious explorer, or just looking for a peaceful day by the sea, tomorrow promises a memorable experience along Fiji’s shores.

The lowest tide of the year for Fiji is predicted for 28 of May 2025, states the Fiji Meteorological Service.

The shoreline and inter-tidal zone will be more exposed than usual, which will be great for the following activities:

Fiji Met states beachcombing enthusiasts will find an abundance of shells, stones, and fascinating marine debris along the exposed seabed, perfect for collecting souvenirs or simply enjoying the view.

Also, nearshore fishing is expected to be at its best, as the lower water levels open up access to otherwise hard-to-reach fishing spots from the shore.

Fiji Met adds tide pool exploration will be a delight, offering a close look at sea anemones, small crabs, starfish, and other marine life usually hidden below the surface.

For those seeking relaxation, the wide stretch of pristine sand provides an excellent setting for long beach walks, seaside yoga, or simply soaking in the serene coastal scenery, said the weather office.
