THE Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) recorded an operating profit of $57,389 in the 2024 financial year ending December 31.
This was stated in its latest audited financial accounts submitted to the Fijian Elections Office on March 31.
A total of $345,906 was received by SODELPA including $325,000 as parliament grant, $11,695 from fundraising and $3547 as donations.
The party’s total expenses for the year were $288,517, of which $75,225 was paid out as salaries and allowances, $53,815 for management board and working committee meetings and $30,000 as salaries and allowances for prior years.
The party had $122,962 cash at bank which included $111,674 at Bred Bank and $10,843 with ANZ Bank. It had $445 as cash on hand.
SODELPA’s total assets were valued at $147,410.
