Expenses outweigh income for FLP

THE Fiji Labour Party had an operating loss of $7649 in the 2024 financial year, reveals its latest financial statement filed with the Fijian Elections Office dated March 19.

FLP had an income of $32,664 and expenses of $40,313.

The party received $27,275 in donations and $4500 as levy.

According to the accounts, the list of donors had been submitted to the Registrar of Political Parties on January 31, 2025.

FLP’s major expenses were $20,000 as office rent, $6820 in salaries, and $3024 in office repairs and maintenance.

At the end of December 2024, the party had $36,599 cash which included $1500 in bond, $34,361 in a Bank of Baroda account and $738 as cash on hand.
