Kapawale remains in custody

Highseas murder accused Tevita Qaqa Kapawale had his case called this morning for Judgement.

Mr Kapawale appeared before High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere.

The a father of three, faces five counts of murder and a count each of attempted murder and criminal intimidation.

Appearing for the state is Lawyer Triveshni Sharma from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Lawyer Tobia Ravuniwa from the Legal Aid Commission appeared for Mr Kapawale.

He is further remanded in custody, and the case adjourned.
