POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of an an iTaukei male in Lautoka on May 17.
Divisional Police Commander West, Senior Superintendent of Police Iakobo Vaisewa confirmed the discovery.
“I can confirm that we did receive a report yesterday (Saturday).”
SSP Vaisewa said the deceased had fallen in a drain along Kadavu St.
“We will need to wait for the postmortem examination details to confirm whether or not he was intoxicated.”
