THE Fiji Tourism Exchange 2025 has probably been our best ever, said Tourism Fiji chief executive officer Brent Hill during an interview on the final day of the FTE 2025 held at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort on Denarau, Nadi.
“I think with the operators, the feedback has been really, really strong,” Mr Hill said.
“We are really in a good space and the feedback has been ‘Fiji is positioned really well, the brand is great and is really reasonating well around the world.
“The message from all the people that have come to Fiji is keep doing what you are doing, keep pushing forward, growing the tourism sector, and there’s a lot of interest.
“So, I think from that perspective, I think it has been really successful.
“I love the fact that for our operators and our industry, we represent Fiji to the world, and we do it in a world class way.
“I think that is really important, we spend a lot of money, a lot of time and this things take 12 months to plan.
“And that is because we have to be right on our game because we are competing against the rest of the world.
“So, we have to be world class and that is what we’ve shown at FTE.
“And I am really proud of our team and our industry.”
