Police have confirmed a man in his 60s from Nasavu Village in Ra is Fiji’s latest road fatality.
He lost his life following a motor vehicle accident at Wairuku, Rakiraki last night and slammed into a drain culvert.
The deceased was a passenger in vehicle driven by a man in his 30s.
Police state the victim, three other passengers and the driver were all rushed to the Rakiraki Hospital.
Two of the three passengers remain admitted at the Rakiraki Hospital while the third victim has been transferred to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
The driver will be questioned soon as investigations continue.
