Update: 6:20PM TWO offices have been filled after the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau appointed members of the Public Service Commission and Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission for a term of three years each.
The
appointment by the President was done on the advice of the Constitutional
Offices Commission in accordance with the powers vested to them.
The Public
Service Commission will have Vishnu Mohan as their chairman with Bhavna
Narayan, Nezbitt Hazelman, Daksesh Patel, Kalpesh Solanki and Dr
Akanisi Kedrayate as members.
The Human
Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission will have Justice Mohammed Ajmeer as
the chairman, and members will be Sashi Kiran, Faiz Khan, Selina
Leewai and media commentator Peceli Rokotuivuna.
The
appointments were done today.
