India’s Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Shri Pabitra Margherita, will visit Fiji on May 11th-12th.
He is scheduled to attend the 146th Girmit Day celebrations in Labasa on May 12.
In addition, Mr Margherita will have meetings with the political leaders of Fiji during his visit.
Before coming to Fiji, he will spend two days in New Zealand.
“India’s relations with the Pacific region have diversified & strengthened with regular bilateral engagements,’ said India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
“The visit of MOS(PM) to Fiji & New Zealand is expected to further deepen India’s bilateral ties with the region.”
