THREE players from the Vodafone Fijiana XV team took time out from their schedules to join their team sponsor in launching its promotion for two winners to travel to London to watch the Women’s Rugby World Cup finals in September.
Carletta Yee, Anasimeci Rokovada and Bitila Tawake met with fans and customers at Vodafone’s MHCC branch in Suva yesterday along with the general manager of Digital Financial Services Pte Ltd, Shailendra Prasad.
The trio helped launch a M-PAiSA Mastercard promotion where customers automatically entered the competition and went into the draw to win whenever they used the card to make a purchase or conduct a transaction with it.
In launching the promotion, Prasad highlighted how it was a multi-faceted opportunity to gauge the lucky winners in a wholesome experience.

Meanwhile, Yee, Rokovada and Tawake were swarmed by a plethora of fans and members of the general public that sought for photo opportunities, received signed rugby balls and won prizes when correctly answering questions related to the Fijiana XV.
All players expressed an ecstatic enthusiasm in being present at the occasion as they continue their preparations for their next Test match abroad against the United States before the World Cup begins in late August.
The Fijiana XV were defeated by the Wallaroos 7-43 in their first Test last Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
