A WOMAN is pleading for blood donation for her husband who has been bedridden for about three weeks because of a car accident which happened in Davuilevu, Nausori, last month.
Lanieta Matanatabu, 28, said doctors had advised that her husband, Mosese Tawatatau, needed 100 per cent capacity of blood to undergo the lifesaving surgery he underwent yesterday afternoon.
“I am pleading with the people, to please save my husband who is fighting for his life in the hospital,” Ms Matanatabu said.
“My husband needs blood so that he can use that blood after his surgery.”
Meanwhile, family members of the woman driver of the second vehicle involved in the same accident were also pleading with the public on social media for blood donation.
The woman is admitted at the CWM Hospital and needs blood for her third surgery.
Police are yet to make a statement on the accident.
