The Fiji Police Force has said it received no complaints on an incident that shows the acting Commissioner of Corrections, Sevuloni Naucukidi in a fistfight with another person inside a nightclub.

Police spokesperson Wame Boutolu said no report was received at Totogo Police Station regarding the incident.

The video, which went viral this morning shows Mr Naucukidi being restrained by security officers and several other men who are wearing white shirts, depicting the Fiji prisons logo.

It is not known if the incident took place before or after Mr Naucukidi was appointed to the Corrections top job on March 29th.

The Fiji Times has sent questions to the Fiji Corrections Service.
