In their fourth meeting against the Vodafone Fijiana XV, the Wallaroos continued to prove their dominance with a 43-7 win in their Test match at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva last night.

The Fijiana XV’s lone try was scored by captain Alfreda Fisher and a successful conversion made by Luisa Tisolo in the seventh and eighth minute of play respectively.

The Aussies responded later with a try by Caitlyn Halse in the 10th minute, and a conversion by Faitala Moleka.

Even though the home side sought to resist the surge of the visitors by fielding its best level of defence, the Aussies added another converted try by Bienne Terita in the 16th minute.

Terita placed another try to the scoreboard in the 26th minute, this time being an unconverted one.

In the 30th minute, skipper Siokapesi Palu placed another try with a successful conversion made by Moleka.

Desiree Miller secured another try in the 38th minute as the match then went into half-time.

In the second half, the Fijiana failed to score another try as the Wallaroos added two more tries from Layrne Morgan and substitute Tania Naden in the 49th and 69th minute respectively.

In that Test match, the Fijiana made 146 tackles compared to the 125 by the Wallaroos, 31 missed tackles to 13 and won only five turnovers compared to the nine earned by the visitors.

The home side made only one conversion while the Aussies made four out of seven successful ones.

The match’s possession shifted as it stood at the Fijiana gaining 45 per cent of it while the Wallaroos got 55 percent of it.

Both sides only copped one yellow card, the Fijiana conceded 11 penalties in its own half while the Wallaroos had only one.

Meanwhile, the Test was part of a double header fixture alongside the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and the Queensland Reds, where the Drua won 36-33.
