The Foundation for the Education of Needy Children in Fiji (FENC) is focused on getting children out of drug related issues and domestic violence.
This was the remark by FENC Fiji CEO Nirmala Nambiar while speaking at the annual walk-a-thon at Natabua High School in Lautoka yesterday.
“Our children need a peaceful surrounding where they can grow and become better leaders of tomorrow,” she said.
Ms Nambiar also revealed the opening of an office space in Lautoka and Labasa soon.
“We are also opening learning centres for children who need extra school support and they can go to the centre and teachers will provide them with information that they need.”
She said every single cent raised by the organisation would go towards the unfortunate children.
“No money is wasted.
“We support the poorest of the poor and we will continue to support with Back-to-School assistance to the Minister of Education and his Education Officers. We support them where children are concerned.
“Back-to-School has an opening and closing dates where we give school bags, books and stationeries.”
