A set of police uniform was stolen from a house in Naikabula, Lautoka last Friday.
The police officer who owned the uniform is based at a police post in the area.
The theft occurred in broad daylight when the officer was away from home.
Police spokesperson Anan Naisoro confirmed the incident, stating other assorted items were also stolen from the residence.
It is an offence for wearing of police uniform without authority under Section 381 (1) (b) of the Crimes Act 2009
