DEFENDING champions of the Fiji Finals, Marist Brothers High School and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School are on track to defend their titles.
This as they comfortably lead the medal tally in their respective divisions. Marist tops the boys tally with eight gold medals, seven silver and six bronze.
Suva Grammar School is in second place with five gold, six silver and four bronze medals while Ratu Kadavulevu School is third with three gold, two silver medals and a bronze.
Queen Victoria School has surged to the top five with two gold medals, three silver and three bronze along with MGM with two gold, a silver and three bronze medals. In the girls’ division, MGM leads with 10 gold, seven silver and a bronze.
Adi Cakobau School has moved up to second place on the tally with four gold medals, four silver and six bronze.
Ratu Sukuna Memorial High School has moved down to third with four gold and a bronze. Natabua High School is fourth with three gold medals, one silver and four bronze medals while Suva Grammar School complete the top five with two gold, five silver and four bronze medals. Today’s order of competition will see 48 events with 40 finals.
Twenty medals will be contested in the girls’ and 20 in the boys’ division.
There is a possibility that the winners could be decided with the 4×400 relays which will close out the 2025 Fiji Finals.
