RATU Kadavulevu School’s Samuela Navitalai and Claudie David of Suva Grammar School were crowned the blue ribbon winners of the 2025 Fiji Finals last night at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

Navitalai and David joined a rich list of the fastest school boys and girls who have blazed the tracks at the annual games. Navitalai ran a time of 10.83s while David stopped the clock at 12.63s.

Setareki Saukilagi of Queen Victoria School won silver while Paula Vonolagi of SGS settled for bronze.

In the girls’ division, David beat Mahatma Gandhi’s Losalini Raikadroka and Adi Cakobau School’s Imeri Nasali to the finish line.

Raikadroka, who ran the fastest time in the heats, had to settle for silver while Nasali got bronze.

The medal tally after the 100m finals has Marist Brothers High School leading the boys’ division with three gold, three silver and one bronze. RKS is second with three gold, two silver and one bronze and SGS is third with two gold, two silver and three bronze.

In the girls’ division, MGM is in front with six gold and two silver, St Joseph’s Secondary School is second with two gold and a bronze and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School is third with two gold medals.

Day two will begin with the finals for the intermediate boys javelin, intermediate girls discus and the sub-junior boys high jump at 8.45am. It will cap off with the finals of the 400m and the 4x100m relays.
