THE Director of Environment and the Attorney-General’s Office had their civil case against Great Han International Pte Ltd called yesterday.
This civil action was heard before Justice Vishwa Datt Sharma at the High Court in Suva.
The Environment Director and A-G’s Office are appealing the ruling made by the Environment Tribunal last year.
The Environment Tribunal had set aside its order issued on September 23 last year for Great Han International to stop the construction of an apartment project along Princes Rd in Suva.
Suva Lawyer Feizal Younas Haniff appeared for his client Qun Ma of Great Han International, while lawyers from the A-G’s Office represented the Department of Environment.
The case was adjourned.
