FIJIANS can now make use of Damodar Cinemas’ latest “Twisties Monday Movies” deal with Goodman Fielder Fiji, a three-year partnership launched at Damodar City yesterday.

The ‘Twisties Monday Movies’ deal is similar to the previous Colgate Monday movies promotion which gave moviegoers the opportunity to receive a movie ticket for ‘free’ upon presenting any Colgate toothpaste packet.

At the launch, Damodar Group chief executive officer Div Damodar said the promotion applied to any Goodman Fielder flavoured snack and Twisties except their 20gram packet.

“This will apply throughout our cinemas including Labasa and also other great products that are coming in also.

“So, we’re really excited that there will now be Twisties Monday and we’re looking forward to this journey with Goodman Fielder going forward,” Mr Damodar said.

Goodman Fielder’s head of marketing Tim Smith said the partnership was an opportunity to bring their snack brands to life led by Twisties, by providing fun-filled flavour excitement to Fijians.

“We see this as a really relevant partnership opportunity to deliver to that ambition and in that position and we look forward to making ‘Twisties Monday’ a long-term partnership with the success of its growth,” Mr Smith told The Fiji Times.

“I am a parent of two young kids myself and I am often looking for ways to entertain the kids especially through the busy school holiday period and we think this is a really good opportunity for families to get really good value entertainment for their kids at movie time.

“I’ll be down here on Mondays with the kids, and I am looking forward to seeing it go well with the back of big events through the holiday period, Coke Games, I think we’ll probably see a nice influx of patrons and obviously with the release of new films as they come through,” he said.
