Nadi to host U20 challenge

THE Oceania Rugby under-20s Challenge will be hosted in Fiji from May 28 to June 7.

Oceania Rugby confirmed this in a statement adding that the U20s Challenge will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

It will see the participation of hosts Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Canada.

Fiji Rugby Union’s Elite Pathways manager Viliame Gadolo said, “This tournament serves as a powerful testament to Fiji’s positioning as a nation, unifying the Pacific through rugby, showcasing world-class sporting capabilities and highlighting the rich rugby culture and tradition of the Pacific.”

Canada joins the competition for the first time.

Fiji U20 will face Tonga in its first match on May 28 at 4pm before meeting Canada on June 2 followed by their clash against Samoa on June 7.
