The Nadi weather office states a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers remains slow moving just to the North of Fiji.
It is expected to continue to enhance the northeasterly wind flow over the Fiji group.
There will be occasional showers with isolated thunderstorm and heavy falls over eastern and interior parts of Viti Levu.
Areas to be affected are coastal Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu, Naitasiri, Interior Ra/Ba, Interior Nadroga/Navosa, Serua-Namosi-Naitasiri, Yasawa and Mamanuca group.
Eastern and interior parts of Vanua Levu and Taveuni will also be impacted.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
