A total of 36 teams have signed up to participate in the first season of the Suva Netball Association’s business house mixed netball competition, which kicked off yesterday at the National Netball Center in Laucala.

The competition will span over six weeks, providing ample time for players to fully engage in the competition.

Association secretary Raijieli Rabitu has stated that the primary objective of the competition is to promote enjoyment, networking, and a healthy lifestyle through the sport of netball.

Rabitu expressed delight in the increase in the number of teams compared to last year, viewing it as a positive indicator for the association.

She encourages teams to make the most of the opportunity to come together and have a good time.

“My message to the teams is to come out and enjoy, this is a great after work exercise it will improve the workers’ health, relieve stress and have fun.”

The business house mixed netball competition is projected to offer a platform for players to not only participate in a sport they love but also to build relationships and prioritise their well-being.
