Boxers ready, weigh-in today

The clock is ticking to the much-awaited opener of the boxing calendar in Fiji by Bluewater Boxing Promotions at the Vodafone Arena in Suva tomorrow.

Four highly anticipated clashes between boxing titans in the country will unfold after a period of hype, tension, excitement and mixed emotions will culminate in the boxing ring, putting into action the notion of “walking the talk”.

These boxers will catch a brief glimpse of how formidable their opponents will be tomorrow night when they appear for a weigh-in at the Terry Walk in Suva at 1pm today.

The most talked about fight for the event will be for the lightweight title between Mohammed Ali and Mikaele Ravalaca.

Joseph Kwadjo will fight Robin Hazelman in the main bout of the cruiserweight division.

Tomorrow’s event will take place from 5pm to 10pm.
