Village unveils five-year development plan

VILLAGERS of Toge Village in Ba launched their Development Trust and Mataqali Naqwata’s five- year strategic and business plan on Friday last week.

This was after a weeklong training in December last year by Maxumise and the iTaukei Trust Fund Board briefing them on the basic know how of the business environment and mapping out the way forward.

While officiating at the event, Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts Ifereimi Vasu also distributed copies of the plan.

Also in attendance was Ba Provincial Council chairman Ratu Meli Tora, Turaga Na Tui Naloto and Board chief executive officer Aisake Taito.
