The government vehicle in an accident this afternoon – TEMALESI VONO

A few hours after the Acting Prime Minister, Prof Biman Prasad issued a stern warning to government vehicle drivers on over speeding, reckless driving, and misuse of Government vehicles, another government vehicle was involved in an accident this afternoon.

The vehicle had hit a power pole in front of St Joseph Secondary School.

Its driver door was open, and no one was visible inside the vehicle when The Fiji Times crew were at the scene.

Prof Prasad had earlier today announced Government is introducing a toll-free complaints hotline, 1526, for the public to report any instances of reckless driving or over speeding involving Government vehicles.
