SHOP n Save Supermarket hosted a special press conference yesterday, unveiling their sponsorship of Fiji’s rising bodybuilding star, Jordan Pillay.
This event marks an exciting chapter in Pillay’s journey as he prepares for the highly anticipated Samson Showdown in Las Vegas on March 29.
The Samson Showdown is a national qualifier for the International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) Pro Card, and Pillay must place in the top three to qualify for the USA Nationals in December.
Tyrone Bucknell, a representative from Shop N Save, shared the supermarket’s pride in supporting Pillay, highlighting his dedication to health and fitness.

This time will allow him to refine his skills and gain valuable experience leading up to the competition.
Jamie Lee Mitchell, Jordan’s wife, also spoke during the press conference, expressing her excitement for this milestone.
“The most exciting part is that we are going 12 weeks prior to the show so that Jordan Pillay can work one on one with his coach to be able to learn more than he has in Fiji.”
