INTERCONTINENTAL Fiji Golf Resort and Spa has won the coveted title of Fijian Hotel of the Year at the 2024 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence.
The awards event was held last Friday at the ICC Sydney and it celebrates the finest in hospitality across Australasia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
In addition to this achievement, IHG Hotels and Resorts, FNPF-owned hotels portfolio general manager Lachlan Walker was recognised with high commendation in the Fijian General Manager category.
“Being named the 2024 Fijian Hotel of the Year is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the extraordinary dedication of our team,” Mr Walker said.
“This accolade highlights the commitment we share to always exceed guest expectations while celebrating the spirit and culture of Fiji through incredible experiences.
“To also be recognised with a highly commended in the Fiji General Manager category is a personal honour and a recognition of the collective efforts of our team.”
The HM Awards are widely regarded as the most prestigious accolades in the Australasian hospitality industry, recognising excellence in individuals, properties and brands.
