The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) will publish the names of tenants with arrears in the media if they don’t come forward to settle their accounts by November 30, 2024, said TLTB General Manager Estate Services, Isoa Tuwai,
He said there are 14,661 tenants with outstanding lease arrears totalling $16.7 million.
“Tenants are urged to take ownership & immediate action to settle their arrears to avoid severe consequences,” he said.
“We are committed to working with our tenants to find solutions, but it is crucial that arrears are cleared to avoid further legal actions.”
