Fiji’s cruiserweight boxer, Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh, is feeling confident and ready for his upcoming IBO Asia Pacific Cruiserweight title fight against Tonga’s King Tonga Tongotongo in the South Pacific Boxing Promotion.
Despite the tough competition, Singh says he is not feeling any pressure leading up to the fight.
He acknowledges feeling some nerves, but he is drawing inspiration from the opportunity to fight in front of his home fans, especially the children he works with.
Singh and his team have been training hard in preparation for the fight, and he is looking forward to stepping into the ring.
“We have been training hard, its fight week now, and I’m looking forward to jump into the ring,” said Singh.
“Understanding what I’m going up against, I have a tough fight, and I’m not taking anything away from the hard work our team has put in, come fight night I should perform on that level and God willing we walk away with the victory.”
Singh emphasises that he has faced formidable opponents in the past and is confident in his abilities to rise to the occasion.
“I have fought big fights before, the nerves come from fighting with such huge opponents, I just can’t wait to get in the ring and do my job.”
With his experience in fighting on a global stage, Singh is eager to showcase his skills and determination in front of his home crowd.
