Local boxing icon Ubayd Haider, formerly known as Nathan Singh, is confident that his intense training and focused mindset will lead him to an extraordinary performance in the upcoming fight.
Haider is set to face off against China’s Runqi Zhou for the prestigious IBO Asia Pacific featherweight title during the South Pacific Boxing promotion in Nadi tomorrow,
The 25-year-old is dedicated to pushing his boundaries to become the best version of himself and make his country proud.
“The hard yards is done, now it’s time for showdown,” said Haider.
“I have worked hard in my training, and I just can’t wait to get in the ring.”
The event, featuring special guest Sonny Bill Williams, promises an exciting showdown at Prince Charles Park, with gates opening at 2pm.
