Fiji’s top professional boxer Winston Hill is set to face Australian Lachlan O’Shea during the South Pacific Boxing Promotion event this Saturday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
Hill, who has been preparing for eight weeks, expressed confidence ahead of the bout.
“We’re ready 110 per cent. Training camp has been good, even with a few setbacks, it makes the fight more interesting,” Hill said.
“We’re looking forward to a great fight.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for those who can’t make it to Nadi. They can watch from home or abroad.
“This event is a major step up for Fiji boxing altogether, and having three IBO titles on our shores is huge.
“This is the first for us, but it won’t be the last.”
