A few more vessels are expected to arrive into the Port of Lautoka this week, according to the Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd schedule on their website. Cargo ships and cruise liners were expected to arrive.
The MSC NILA II container vessel is expected to arrive on August 21 along with Kota Hening.
According the My Ship Tracking website, the MSC NILA II was built in 2001.
The vessel is currently sailing under the flag of Liberia.
MSC NILA II has an average speed of 16.5 knots and average winds of 12.9 knots.
The website added some of the vessel’s most visited ports include Suva, Lautoka, Bell Bay, Noumea and Brisbane.
Meanwhile Kota Hening was also scheduled to arrive on August 21.
According to the Vessel Finder website, the container ship was sailing at a speed of 0.7 knots.
The 21-year-old ship is c sailing under the flag of Singapore.
Meanwhile the P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Explorer is expected to arrive at the Lautoka Port on August 25.
