FIJI Airways has filed with the United States Department of Transportation an application to launch a new nonstop route between Nadi and Dallas, Texas in the USA.

The airline intends to launch this route as soon as it receives permission to do so.

“Fiji Airways recently acquired new, 334-seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft, and Fiji Airways is now able to expand its route network to include new service between Nadi, Fiji, on the one hand, and Dallas-Fort Worth, on the other hand,” states the application dated July 11, 2024.

“Fiji Airways intends to operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays beginning as soon as all required government approvals are received.

“Grant of this authority is consistent with the public interest.

“There is currently no direct, nonstop service from Nadi to Dallas-Fort Worth.

“Fiji Airways’ proposed service adds new service and new travel options for travel to Fiji from a major market in a new US geographic region with convenient connections to the middle and eastern US.”

Fiji Airways currently flies to Los Angeles and San Francisco in the USA.
